DIRECTOR
The Albany Area Arts Council is currently accepting applications for the position of Director. The Director is responsible for providing arts leadership, working with member arts organizations and the community, as well as developing and implementing appropriate programming. As custodian of the Carnegie Library building the director will be responsible for building rentals and working with city government on the preservation of the historic facility that the Albany Area Arts Council calls home.

Applicants for the Directors position should hold a Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience. Evidence of administrative experience, grant writing, fundraising, strong communications skills and volunteer and board experience are highly desirable.
