Robert Vaashawn Callaway, Jr.

ASHBURN — Mr. Robert Vaashawn “Poo Bear” Callaway, Jr., 30 of 929 W. Washington St., Ashburn died May 17, 2008. Funeral services will be Sunday at 1 P.M. at the Turner Co. Civic Center with interment in Westview Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Washington will be officiating and Rev. Jerome Pace will deliver the eulogy.

Mr. Callaway was born July 12, 1977 in Turner Co. He was educated in the Turner Co. Public School System. He worked as a mechanic at a trucking company and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his mother, Earnestine Gipson Poke, Ashburn; stepmother, Dolly Callaway, Ashburn; four sisters, Tamalyn Gipson, Roshonda Anderson, Veronica Hall,and Demetrius Holmes; five brothers, Keith Callaway, Ocala, FL., Alonzo Anderson, Shedrick Anderson, Bobby Anderson, Antario Anderson; two grandmothers, Eveline Gipson, Alma Callaway; four aunts, Mattie Lawson, Annie Manning, Odessa Rogers, Ilene Gipson; eight uncles, Duvall Callaway, Anthony Gipson, Darron Gipson, Lenear Gipson, Albert Gipson, Currey Gipson, Homer Dorsey, and Andrew Gispon.
