Bill Cheeks

ALBANY — Mr. Bill Cheeks, 93, of 3430 Aristedes Rd., Albany died May 14, 2008 at his home. Funeral services will be Monday 1 P.M. at Oak Grove Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Reginald Swan, Pastor will officiate.

Mr. Cheeks was born July 14, 1914 in Albany. He attended Dougherty Co. Public Schools and was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Deacon board and President of the Usher Board at Oak GRove Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Tommy Cheeks (Dee) of Miami, FL and Henry Cheeks (Carrie) of Albany, one daughter, Barbara Rouse (Charlie) of Albany, one sister, Irene Ross of Philadelphia, PA, 15 grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren.

The remains of Mr. Cheeks will be in the church on Monday 12 noon until the funeral hour.
