Inez Runnels Alday
DONALSONVILLE we regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Inez Runnels
Alday, 90, of Donalsonville died Friday morning, May 9, 2008 at the
Donalsonville Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Alday will be held on Sunday, May 11, 2008 at 3
P.M. at Spring Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church
cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 10, 2008 from 6-8 P.m. at the
funeral home.

the Life Care Center in Fitzgerald.

Ethel Grace Gaff
OCILLA Ethel Grace Gaff, 85, of Ocilla, died Thursday, May 8 at Tift
Regional Medical Center in Tifton.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, May 10 at Frank Primitive
Baptist Church in irwin Co. with Elder Ed McIntyre officiating Interment will
follow in Brushy Creek Cemetery The family will receive friends from 7-9
Friday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mrs. Gaff was born August 7, 1922 in Irwin Co. to the late Roy Q. and Bertha
McMillan Freeman. She was a homemaker and moved to the community in 1972 after
her husband retired from the US Air Force. Mrs. Gaff moved with her husband
during his military career, living in Dougherty Co., Okinawa, South Dakota and
Homestead, FL. She was a member of Frank Primitive Baptist Church, the Ladies
Circle and a former choir member.
Mrs. Gaff is survived by her husband, James C. Gaff of Ocilla; sons and
daughters-in-law, Dr. James E. and Sharen Gaff of Jacksonville, FL, Michael E.
Gaff of Cordele and G. Wayne and Wendy Gaff of Jacksonville, FL; eight
grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sisters & brothers-in-law, Louise
F. Johnson of Irwinville, Agnes F. Kelly of Wray, Betty Laura and Robert Fain
and Nelle and Cecil Rigdon all of Ocilla, as well as several nieces and
nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers,
Prentiss, Roy Jr. and Cecil Freeman.
