FITZGERALD — Lucille Young Holland, 72, of Fitzgerald, GA died Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at the Life Care Center in Fitzgerald. William K. Hurst

CAIRO — Mr. William Kendall (Billy) Hurst of Pelham died Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at Archbold Hospital in Thomasville. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 18, 2008 at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in Cairo. Dr. Paul Jones will officiate. Interment will be held in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Mitchell County, GA. The family will receive friends 6p.m. - 8 p.m., tonight (Thursday, April 17th) at the funeral home.

Billy was born September 25, 1955 to Leon W. and Marzine Roberts Hurst in Moultrie, GA. He was known for his honesty and quiet nature. Billy Hurst dearly loved his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Leon W. Hurst.

He is survived by his daughter, Maria Batchelor and husband Simon of Pelham; mother Marzine Cooper of Cairo; sister, Gloria Lowe and husband Roy of Cairo; brothers, Wayne Hurst and wife Betty of Pelham and Michael D. Hurst, Sr. and Marie Brooks of Meigs; nieces and nephews, Brandie Davis and husband Rusty of Whigham, Krystal Gainous and husband Bryan of Cairo, Lisa Austin and husband Petey of Pelham, Michael D. Hurst, Jr. and wife Autumn of Camilla; great nephews, Tanner Davis of Whigham and Logan Michael Hurst of Camilla; great nieces, Courtney and Kayla Austin of Pelham.

Sheila Marie Neumeister Large

BLAKELY — Sheila Marie Neumeister Large, 53, of 4050 Hwy. 27 S., Blakely, GA died Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at the S. E. Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. There will be a memorial service at 11a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008 at the Chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home. The Father Joel Bladt will officiate.

Mrs. Large was born August 20, 1954 in Louisville, KY. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church and the CO-owner and operator of Smitty’s Grill for 15 years. She is preceded in death by her father William Robert Neumeister, Sr.

Survivors include her husband, Fred Homer Large of Blakely, GA, one stepdaughter, Kristina Marie Large of Pembroke Pines, FL, her mother, Mrs. Norma Fehribach of Boca Raton, FL. Two brothers, William Robert (Bill) Neumeister Jr. of Pembroke Pines, FL and Jeffery Neumeister of Boynton Beach, FL. and one sister, Vicki Minnaugh of Pembroke Pines, FL., two nieces Megan Odom and Gabby Kronshage both of Blakely, GA.

There will be a private Rosary at 7 p.m. Friday Night (April 18, 2008) at the funeral home.
