Two shot in possible drive-by

ALBANY — Two people were shot in what police believe was a drive-by shooting at an Albany home early Saturday morning, police reports show.

Just before 12:30 a.m., police responded to a home on the 800 block of West Mercer Avenue in reference to a shooting, reports show.

Ashley Hicks, 16, and Calvin Keith, 17, were both shot while standing outside of the house with several friends, police reports show.

Neither of the wounds appeared to police to be life-threatening.

According to the report, several people were standing outside the home when at least three men drove by in a car and opened fire.

Keith told police that he heard between 11-15 shots fired and saw at least two different people shooting.

No suspects have been arrested.
